The NIS Cooperation Group has launched a survey to ask for feedback to help guide the next steps towards a quantum-safe European digital infrastructure.

Following the publication of the “Coordinated Implementation Roadmap for the Transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC)” (https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/library/coordinated-implementation-roadmap-transition-post-quantum-cryptography), the Work Stream on PQC of the NIS Cooperation Group is now working on the next steps to support the PQC migration.

The group invites the public – and in particular – providers of critical infrastructures, industry stakeholders and academia, to give feedback on the recently published roadmap in a public consultation.

On the publication of an updated/additional roadmap, the NIS Cooperation Group also welcomes concrete proposals for the document in the consultation, e.g. by providing additional text targeting specific challenges of relevant sectors. Submissions will undergo a review process by the Work Stream and promising proposals will be invited to provide more details. Contributions can also include mentioning of open-source tools that could be of benefit for all actors impacted by the transition.

Product advertisement will not be accepted.

The NIS Cooperation Group invites your feedback until 29 September 2025, 18:00 CEST.
