German Government Wants a National Roadmap for Post-quantum Cryptography

To counter the risk, the BSI is focusing on information and the gradual migration to quantum-safe procedures. Based on the EU roadmap published in June 2025 (“Coordinated Implementation Roadmap for the Transition to Post-Quantum Cryptography”), the German government is aiming to develop a national roadmap for the “transition to post-quantum cryptography”.
