October 6 – 8, 2025, 2025, Bucharest, Romania

The conference brings together the European cybersecurity community in Bucharest, Romania this year again. Amongst other key topics, it includes the block “Emerging Threats: AI and Quantum in the Cyber Domain”: This theme addresses the evolving threat landscape, spotlighting AI-enabled cyber attacks and the push for quantum-resilient systems. Discussions will center on innovation, risk forecasting, and the need for proactive defences, as the organizers write on the conference pages.

The Bucharest Cybersecurity Conference (BCC2025) is a three-day event organised by the Romanian National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC), with the support of the Romanian National Coordination Centre (NCC-RO) and the National Association for Information Systems Security (ANSSI). BCC2025 is organised in close collaboration with the EU Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), and is set to be one of the year’s most significant cybersecurity conferences in Europe.

The theme of BCC2025, Working together on cybersecurity in a time of global uncertainty, reflects the urgent need for international cooperation to rapidly address evolving cyber threats, protect critical infrastructure, and align national and regional policies in an increasingly interconnected digital landscape. As the world faces rising geopolitical tensions, more frequent hybrid attacks, and the rapid growth of emerging technologies, cybersecurity has become much more than a technical issue, as it is now a shared global priority that demands trust, collaboration, and coordinated action across borders.
