June 25, 2025, Co-located with ACNS 2025, Munich, Germany
This workshop aims to explore the synergies between (symmetric/asymmetric) quantum-safe and quantum cryptography. A leading example is the design of Hybrid Authenticated Key Exchange (HAKE) protocols that combine conventional, post-quantum, and quantum cryptography. While the topic is traditional, several new approaches have been proposed recently.
The issue is pressing to support the design of the future European Quantum Communication Infrastructure (EuroQCI) that will span the European Union. Beyond HAKE, quantum-safe cryptography has been used to build quantum protocols that demonstrate a quantum advantage (e.g., quantum oblivious transfer).
This workshop will provide researchers, engineers, and practitioners a platform to discuss recent advancements.
The objectives are:
- Foster collaboration between quantum-safe (such as PQC) and quantum cryptographers.
- Discuss recent advances and challenges.
- Explore practical implementations and standardization efforts.
- To provide a platform for presenting academic and applied work in the field.
Organizers
- Ludovic Perret (EPITA, Sorbonne University, France)
